There were 8 pups in all:
2 x brown males and 1 x Black and white male 
1 x brown and white female, 1 x brown female, 1 x black and white female and 2 x black females

Being born on the tenth of the tenth of the tenth, this litter will all have "TENN" names.

One of the black girls is a tiny 260 grams - the smallest puppy I have ever had, but she is strong, and we are able to help her feed well,
so she has a pretty good chance of making it. This is one time when being a vet has major advantages. 
11/10/10 update: our little girl is gaining weight. She seems to be on her way to catching up with the others.
12/10/10 update: our little girl in already up to 310 grams; Murphy is looking after her well.
18/10/10 update: she has been gaining weight daily and is now 540 grams - over double her birth weight. All the pups have been growing this quickly!
22/10/10 update: our tenn-acious little black girl is now over 700 grams.

Murphy is well settled, and as expected, has immediately taken up the role of doting mother.

She quickly wriggles her way into the middle of the pack where she is obviously feeding well.

Photos taken 31/10/2011 (3 weeks of age) on their first trip outside. These pups are only just starting to get up their feet.
Our tiny little girl has more than quadrupled her weight in 3 weeks.
  

The following shots are taken between 3 and 5 weeks of age. You can see their colour developing as they get older. Our little black girl. although she is still very small, has a big attitude. She is always in the middle of the fun.

Of course the their new families will choose their own pet names.
