GROUND RULES 1. All members must arrive at least half an hour before their class starts to help put the equipment out, and assist in packing it away when classes are finished. 2. All dogs must wear a flat collar and, for the introduction class be on a 4 foot lead. No halties (head collars) or check chains are to be used when training. They are unsafe. 3. All dogs must be on lead at all times except when it is their turn to negotiate equipment during class. This includes while the equipment is being set up and put away. 4. All handlers must report to the sign in desk on arrival and sign in the class book and pay ground fees accordingly. 5. Instructors have complete charge of their class and their instructions will be followed 6. Only club members, and signed-in visitors, may handle a dog in a training class 7. All members must wear their name badge when in class. 8. All handlers must wear sensible foot wear – no thongs or high heels are allowed. 9. No bitches in oestrum are permitted on the training grounds 10. All handlers are to clean up faeces of their dog – bags are available at the sign-in desk. Grounds must be left immaculately clean. Handlers must not leave any of their own litter. 11. Aggressive dogs must wear a coloured ribbon whilst on the grounds. A red ribbon indicates aggression toward other dogs. A yellow ribbon indicates aggression to people. 12. All members are legally and morally responsible for their own dog’s actions. 13. The club takes no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to property or persons of any member while on the training grounds. 14. No handler is allowed to use any of the club’s equipment without supervision by an instructor.
