2012
Stacy Peardot Goudy is coming to Canine Fun
Sports.

Stacy is a well known handler in the USA
and those who have been to her previous seminars in Australia will give
glowing reports of her excellence as a seminar presenter, not only the
content of her seminars, but her rapport with her students and her
enthusiasm.
<<Stacy is known
both nationally and
internationally not
only for her
countless awards and
titles in the sport
of agility, but also
for her purely
positive, innovative
and people-oriented
teaching
style. Stacy
believes that
positive thinking,
positive attitude,
positive training
and competitive
greatness go hand in
hand. >>
We think she is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

Here are the dates and details of the
seminars that Stacy will be doing with us in Sydney.
I hope to be able to add a little more detail if Stacy gets a chance to send
us a bit more information.
I am not exactly sure what she has planned for us!
3rd and 4th of November - Seminar for
masters dogs - controlling the high drive dog at speed
5th and 6th of November - Novice and Intermediate dogs
You have the option of doing just one or both days of this class.
This class is directed at dogs that have started to trial in novice and
excellent classes
(or perhaps just about to start trialling)
7th November - Puppy and Young Dog Foundation Training
Limited number of puppies and young dogs accepted.
There will be a lot of demonstration work in this seminar, so it is a good
one to audit.
8th and 9th November - Dogs
trialling in Excellent and Masters dogs that need that little
bit of extra speed.
This seminar will be a general handling seminar but will also give a bit
of extra work on how to encourage speed for the slower dog.
That means it is also suitable for the less experienced fast dogs.
13th and 14th November - Distance Handling (remember Stacy "wrote the book")
You have the option of doing just one or both days of this seminar. Each
day will cover different work.
We have also reserved the 12th November, if we have the demand.
(Otherwise we will be doing some sight seeing!)

Things to keep in mind:
- The seminar will be held at our training centre at
Castlereagh. We are able to cater for people who may want to camp or
caravan it. Just let us know so we can cater for you.
- We reserve the right to allocate people to classes
that we feel suit them better than their own choice. This will not be
done without prior consultation with the handler, because we also
recognise that choices are also made on the dates the handlers have
available to them.
- Due to previous experiences, we are placing
certain stipulations on payments.
a) Once the programme is finalised, to confirm your position, we will
require a 25% non-refundable deposit. This will need to be paid prior to
the end of July. Your place in the seminar can only be guaranteed by
placing this deposit. People who have sent in their "expression of
interest" will have first opportunities to reserve their positions, but
the seminar will be re-advertised in June.
b) If you withdraw from the seminar prior to 1st October, in most
circumstances, this deposit will not be refunded, although any further
payments will be refunded.
c) If the seminar is cancelled by us, for whatever reason, this deposit
may not be refunded – this money will have already been paid out to
cover expenses, or been paid to Stacy. We will refund this money IF it
is available, but no guarantees. If the seminar is cancelled by us we
guarantee that we will refund any money above that 25% deposit.
d) Full payment will be needed by 1st October. If you withdraw from the
seminar after this time, your money will not be refunded unless you find
some-one to full your position (and then, only if we are fully booked.)
e) If the Australian Dollar drops below parity with the US Dollar, we
reserve the right to increase prices, since Stacy's charges to us are in US
dollars.
We are starting to get excited about having Stacy back
in the country. We would like to thank Holly Connor for helping with the
organisation, it would not have happened without her. We hope we see you
here for the event.

2008 and 2009 saw the late Ronda Carter come to visit
us at Canine Fun Sports. We will miss her visits, but for those who want to
remember the short time we had with her, then
