NATIONAL CLUB TEAM CHALLENGE

Each year each state would hold its heats. Each club would send one or more teams, with 4 dogs on each team, to the host club for a big day of club agility. In 1999 the NSW team Challenge was won by Macattack representing the Agility Dog Club of NSW. On the team was Pat Walsh and Annika - a keeshund cross, Liz Yuill and Teddy - a kelpie cross, Leanne Davis and Mac - a shorthaired working border collie and Karen Peterson with Kia - a German Shepherd. Unfortunately, Kia severely injured an elbow in a very unfortunate accident just before the finals to be held in SA. Unfortunate for some, lucky for others. Ned, with myself - Le Hammer, was asked to fill in for the vacant spot, since he had also represented the Agility Dog Club in another team.

Unfortunately, we were the wooden spooners of the event but we had a lot of fun and had some good runs. With the trial the following day, we all came back with South Australian qualifying cards to add to our collection.

No offence is attended but I do not remember who actually won that year. I was probably too busy commiserating with my own team mates. But I did happen to take a photo of the second place getters - the ACT team - after all, they are part of NSW!

I am hoping that some-one can help me with Mollie's handler's name (funny how I seem to remember the dog's name)
And maybe some-one remembers who the winners were that year.
