Animal Training
Solutions - This business now operates in Alice Springs, so may be a
little remote for some. None the less, it is a great reference site to learn about positive reinforcement
training with a fantastic book list. This site is for general
training, not specifically agility. And it is not just for dogs. German Shorthaired Pointer Websites My favourite German Shorthaired Pointer
kennels in Germany are: You can also find GSP's in Australia on the Dogz On Line website which is listed in our Purebred dogs websites link (further down the page). Agility Trialling Associations and other agility sites. Australian National Kennel Council is the body that runs the majority of agility trials across Australia. Even though this body was established to promote purebred dogs in such endeavours as conformation shows and gundog trials, it recognises all dogs in trialling pursuits (agility, obedience, herding tracking, earth dog trials, lure coursing and dog dancing.) Each state has into own body. In NSW it is called DOGS NSW. To find out about agility in NSW go to the website of the Dogs NSW Agility Committee. It includes a trialling Calendar, information about point scores, agility training clubs and links to website with similar information in the other states of Australia Clean Run - an American website devoted to agility ADAA - Agility Dog Association of Australia ADAC - Australian Dog Agility Council (when it asks for a password, click <cancel>) Joints stress article - a very interesting, although old article written by European vets and physiotherapists (who also do agility) about the stresses and strains that occur to a dog's joints during agility. This link will take you to the home page, then click on "Loads in Agility". But using the Google Babelfish translator can help. Purebred Dogs in Australia Dogz on Line - about purebred dogs in Australia. This site is set up to promote purebred dogs, and is exactly where to look if you are thinking about purchasing a purebred puppy. You will find breeders, litter advertisements and all sorts of information about a particular breed. There is also an extensive forum on this site where you can ask all sorts of questions about dogs, including breeding, training, photography and all sorts of other topics. Dogs NSW is the NSW controlling body of the Australian National Kennel Council. You can find out about trialling, breeding dogs etc on this site. The link to information about ANKC agility in NSW is above. You will also find links to the controlling bodies in other states.
Apex Boxers - a
great site for Boxer breeders, some good information about agility, dog care
and breeding in general. Other Doggy Services Eastern Suburbs Dog Walking - has been established by one of our GSP owners because he enjoys walking his dog. Check the link. The dogs really enjoy their exersise, although I do not think he expects the dogs to dress up every time for a night on the time. Fenrik Catch a
