ASHLEY ROACH AND "JAMIE"

Ashley and Jamie are relatively new comers to the sport of agility, having started training in Sept 2001, then starting with Le and Keith at St Ives in August 2002. The first pass came the following month and Ashley is still training at CFS.

He competes at the top level having competed in at least 3 Nationals masters finals and was the National Snooker" Champion of 2006 (and we mean the agility game!) The pair has represented NSW on their state team for the last 3 years, including the winning teams of 2005 and 2006.

At 6 years of age, this poodle x border collie still has a big future.

Jamie has has been selected on the team to represent NSW at the National Agility Trials in
ACT 2004
WA 2005
NSW 2006
SA 2007

This team gained their agility championship in November 2007, after Jamie had some time out to recuperate from an injury.

Note that Jamie has some different "looks" depending on his haircut. We sometimes tease Ashley that Jamie runs faster when his hair is short, especially that time when his friend Eddie Szmelter was let loose with the clippers. Eddie is in the background of the first picture, and you can see his attitude to hair cuts by how short he has his own hair!)
